After beginning his career as a multiline agency owner, Carson quickly realized his real passion is in the financial services profession. Instead of walking away from the thousands of client relationships he had built up to that point Carson decided to instead focus on bringing more value to his clients by helping them with their financial advisory needs as well. To date he has invested huge amounts back into his agency in the form of new team members. The CP Insurance team is stacked with the top licensed agents in their area. Each agent specializes in just a few disciplines. Even though CPI is still a multiline agency, they set themselves apart from the competition by having dedicated agents who are focused on directed markets. The old saying “jack of all trades, master of none” is widely used to describe the multiline world; however, Carson and his team have distanced themselves from other agencies by becoming a team of leading authorities on every service they offer. ____ Carson has made Financial Services his own personal specialty within his agency. He has achieved incredible standards with the companies he represents and has earned many of their Top Agent awards year after year. When asked what sets him apart from others in his particular field Carson stated, “Too many times in our field we do an incredible job of making ourselves seem important and all knowledgeable and too poor a job of actually responding to the clients wants and needs. The reason we do more business than most is because we refer more business than most. Look, if it’s not a good fit then I don’t want to put you there even if it means losing a sale. This is why it has become paramount to my success to work with other like minded professionals who specialize in areas where I do not. Maybe I am old fashioned, but I just believe if you treat people right, and make sound advisements regardless of how they affect my bottom line, then my clients will always take care of me and my family’s needs.”
