Robert has been a financial advisor and client account manager for nearly 30 years, working in Texas at some of the most prominent financial firms in the country. Positions he has held include vice president and financial advisor at Merrill Lynch; vice president, financial advisor and portfolio manager at UBS; and financial advisor, portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley. A common theme throughout his career has been the honest and responsible manner in which he has conducted himself on behalf of his clients. He joined Harbor Financial in September 2018, attracted by the firm’s objectivity as an independent broker/dealer, and its clearing and custodial services arrangement with Raymond James, which provides access to proprietary equity research and rebalancing tools to help manage client assets. Robert customizes investment portfolios to each client based on a detailed financial plan that takes into account their specific goals, risk tolerance, investment style and time horizon. Utilizing hedging strategies with the objective of reducing market risk, his goal is to enable clients to have confidence in making their money last. Robert graduated from Plano East Senior High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he became a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Originally from New York, Robert now lives in Allen, Texas, with his wife, Carie, and their children, Sebastian and Gabrielle. In his free time, he enjoys guitar, drums, Jiu jitsu, weight lifting and swimming. He is a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. Raymond James is not affiliated with the above organizations.
