Diana Foster Edwards is the President and Founder of Edwards Insurance and Financial Solutions LLC, an Independent Brokerage and Insurance Firm in Northern Chesterfield, Virginia since 2010. Diana holds a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from Saint Paul’s College and began her career in the Real Estate Industry in 1981.  She is currently an Associate Broker with Long and Foster Real Estate Brokerage and although she has enjoyed a long and successful career in real estate, she in recent years embarked on an additional career in the Insurance and Financial Services industry where Diana found her niche in this market where she assists Seniors with their Medicare Retirement and Real Estate options. Diana and her husband were caregivers for her widowed mother for 20 years It was during that time that Diana become sensitive to the needs of an aging parent and developed skills of managing her business and taking care of her health care needs. She learned the importance of spending time, being patient, and having compassion for her mother’s growing needs, during the time in which our role of mother and daughter had clearly changed.  Little did Diana know that this experience was preparing her for the launch of her second career helping seniors like her mom who need patience and kindness and compassion to help them with making critical choices for their Medicare and Retirement needs. Seniors love working with Diana because they say that she makes them feel comfortable and she takes the time to explain and educated them in planning and help with making difficult decisions for this stage of their lives Diana is passionate about educating and empowering her clients in their Senior planning options.  She teaches Medicare Basics in the Adult Education Curriculum in Chesterfield County, Va. She is devoted to continuing education in her fields and brings expertise and years of valuable experience to the table for her clients. She holds licenses in Life, Health, Annuities, Property and Casualty ,Real Estate  Long Term Care and is currently licensed in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Alabama, Florida and New York.  She holds the Certified Senior Advisor Designation (CSA), Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation (SRES) and most recently the elite Certified Financial Fiduciary Designation (CFF).  She is pursuing additional designations in Social Security, Taxes in Retirement and Long Term Care Professional (LTCP) Diana pursues yearly certification training with multiple insurance carriers.  She is a Level 2 “Authorized to Sell” AARP agent and she partners with the ONLY  Medicare health insurance carrier who is branded with the AARP brand of distinction  Her mission is NOT to be a transactional professional, instead, Diana heart’s desire is to serve her clients with excellence and build a long and lasting relationship with them so that she may continually serve them and help them to leave an strong and endearing legacy to their loved ones. Diana has embraced to a holistic business model as she helps those approaching retirement with strategies that will turn their Retirement Savings into Retirement Income and all without losing any of their principal. On a personal note, Diana enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She loves every opportunity to have friends over and lavish them with good food and educating them on the wonderful health benefits of essential oils.  Friends are often treated to therapeutic foot massages and encouraged to relax and enjoy these special moments. Diana is married to college sweetheart and husband of 43 years, Zachariah Wesley Edwards.  She and Zachariah are business partners and are an exceptional team of trained and experienced professionals who have dedicated their lives to TEACH others that they may REACH others to help them live their BEST lives by making their BEST choices.   How can she help you today?
